Y’all….I happened along a great food blog, The Delightful Bite, this week and these yummy looking Jalapeno Cheddar Sliders caught my eye!!!
Turkey burgers are not exactly easy, in my opinion, to successfully master. (They can be bland, dry and kinda blah depending on how you combine them and/or cook them.) Just my thoughts!
I took the liberty of adding a few things…{as I normally do, I’m just adventurous that way}…to Ashley’s recipe and I’m happy to report that they were amazing. I was pleasantly surprised at the moistness and flavor punch that these little turkey sliders had! So good….
And who doesn’t love sliders…of any kind? I mean really…they are super cute and very versatile…you can make any number of combinations. The ideas are endless!
AND….not to mention, they are great for parties!

Jalapeno Turkey Sliders with White Cheddar Cheese.
These Jalapeno Turkey Sliders are a cheesy and spicy treat. They are easy to throw together and they are filled with flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 jalapeno finely diced
- 2 garlic cloves finely minced
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 slices white cheddar cheese halved
Instructions
Mix

In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients and mix together gently. You do not want to over mix...just until combined.

Form the turkey mixture into 8 turkey sliders. (For larger burgers, you would get 4 in total.)
Cook

Preheat an oven to 350 degrees.

Additionally, heat a skillet that has been coated with non-stick cooking spray. Once heated, add the turkey sliders one at a time and let them cook on each side for 2 minutes each.

Once both sides of the turkey sliders have cooked for 2 minutes, place the skillet in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the burgers have reached an internal temperature of 165 degrees.

Take out of the oven and place a piece of white cheddar cheese on top of each burger and allow to melt.

Garnish with lettuce, tomatoes, your favorite sauce and enjoy! So good.
