Since this is November….it’s all about Thanksgiving for me! I have always loved Thanksgiving. Whether it was the food, family, friends or fun….I was always ready! So, I decided to devote an entire post to T.H.A.N.K.S.G.I.V.I.N.G.!!! In preparing for my own Thanksgiving, I have come across some amazing ideas, recipes, decorations, how-to’s, etc., and I’m thrilled to share them with you!
I’m all about planning, jotting down notes with drawings of my serving pieces, setting a perfect table ahead of schedule, having plenty of sides and desserts on the menu, sending out invitations, shining up the silver, etc., but this girl has me WAY beat!! These plates are my personal favorites for Thanksgiving! I pull them out each year for my dinner table and dress them up with pressed napkins, silver flatware, crystal glasses, etc. What’s not to love about Johnson Brother’s His Majesty pattern!
How to cook a turkey! Everyone needs a little go to refresher this time of year!!! I always research my notes on cooking times, temperatures, etc. Who wants to mess up the “star of the show” for Thanksgiving? Not.me.
I think that it’s important to have a nice table setting. Whether it’s for holidays, family dinners or special occasions…the table setting is crucial! Or at least for me it is! Insert wink. I always refer back to the Emily Post Table Setting Guide to assure that I’ve done it perfectly!

I’m so into Charcuterie Boards because they are not only yummy, they are a beautiful and a VERY EASY way to serve several people all at once with cocktails. I like to get creative with mine and try different things each time I make one. Here’s a pic of one of my favorites! I had so much fun putting it together! So good!
I’m really liking these 10 Thanksgiving Tradition Ideas!!! I especially like the long walk or hayride idea and heading back in the house for a yummy dessert! Just might implement that one this year on my family!
