“Gluten Free Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal Cookies”
1 box of Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
1 egg
1/2 cup (No-Sugar Added Applesauce)
1 cup of Gluten Free Rolled Oats
1 tsp. Gluten Free Vanilla Extract
Mix all the ingredients together as the directions request on the back of the box. (Note: the box directions calls for 1 stick of softened butter….I used the applesauce instead because of the Casein restriction on Amanda’s special diet, and I used the dairy/casein free chocolate chips as well). I also added the oats for more texture and flavor. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 8 to 10 minutes.
Amanda LOVED them!!!! It makes me happy to see her enjoy her food:) She has done so well on her diet and I am thrilled to reward her with these yummy cookies!!!!
